February 11, 2005 (Atlanta) -- Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business will open a new classroom facility and begin offering its nationally-ranked Flex MBA program in Brookhaven in the evenings beginning this fall.
The new Georgia State Brookhaven Center at 4362 Peachtree Road, 30319, is being leased by the college in order to provide a more convenient location for students who want to obtain a Robinson MBA, ranked for the past nine years among the nation's top 10 programs for working professionals.
"We are extremely pleased to be able to make our Flex MBA program more convenient to the many Atlantans who work and live in the Brookhaven-Buckhead area," said H. Fenwick Huss, dean of the Robinson College. "Time constraints on working professionals are greater than ever and offering a top quality 'close to home' option will enable many to advance their careers."
Huss noted that the program, the highest ranked part-time program in the Southeast, will be taught by the same world-renowned faculty who teach at the downtown program and that the curriculum also will be identical to that offered at the downtown location.
The Brookhaven facility is approximately five minutes from the heart of Buckhead and is also within walking distance of the Brookhaven Marta station.
When students enter the Brookhaven Center this fall, they will be greeted with a fully renovated, three-story brick facility with nine classrooms and a computer lab. Free parking will be available on site.
The Brookhaven Center will become the second Georgia State University facility operated away from the downtown campus. The highly successful Alpharetta Center location has been in serving students in north Fulton County since 2000.
