My overall responsibilities with my current company:
I am the finance consultant for the Brokerage Fixed Income and Equity Trading Groups and Capital Markets. I am responsible for the annual budget, monthly forecast and any monthly ad hoc financial management issues on the trading floor.

What I like most about my job is…
my exposure to the financial services industry from working at the one of the largest brokerage firms. Also I have frequent access to senior management.

The graduate program in the Robinson College of Business has helped me achieve my career goals because…
it has allowed me to adapt to changing environments, given me confidence in my abilities as a business professional and developed my business acumen to succeed in the corporate environment.

What I liked most about attending Robinson:
The flexible class schedule, the high caliber of students and faculty, and regional recognition of our program.

Words of advice or encouragement I would to give current students or recent grads:
Utilize the career services office early and often. Work on your weaknesses through professional development organizations and seminars. Be open to relocation.

What else would you like to add that may be of interest to students or other alums?
Always prepare yourselves for change and opportunities. We live in a world of constant change, and the only way to succeed is to always be prepared for different opportunities and not to get comfortable with the status quo.
