Career Management Center - Executive Coaching Program 

Executive Coaching Program Objective
The objective of the Executive Coaching Program is to provide Robinson College of Business Graduate Students the opportunity to seek advice and guidance about careers and their personal and professional skills by creating relationships between students and experienced executive-level professionals. Executive Coaches will help guide Robinson graduate students as they map out areas for their personal and professional development, request information about careers and industries, and seek feedback about issues of concern.

Student Selection Process
Executive coaching sessions will take place the week of October 12-16 and on October 20 and 21, 2009. Coaching sessions are one hour in length and will be scheduled at 9, 10 or 11 a.m. and 1, 2 or 3 p.m. You are eligible for one session with one coach. Once you have confirmed your interest in participating:

  • Send your resume and a brief cover letter to jcordraybrandon@gsu.edu stating what you hope to gain from participating in the Executive Coaching Program
  • List your top three preferences for a coach and desired appointment times, if applicable
  • Be sure to include a current number and e-mail address

Logistics
Executive Coaching Week is held on the downtown campus the week of October 12-16 and at the Buckhead Center on October 20 and 21.

Confirmation Process
Once you've been selected as a participant and given a coaching appointment:

    1. Do the necessary due diligence by preparing for the session by having your questions prepared

    2. Dress in professional business attire

    3. Be on time for the interview

    4. Send a thank you card/note/email to the coach after your meeting
