School of Accountancy

The School of Accountancy offers quality accounting education and research. It is ranked among leading accounting departments nationally. The programs in the School of Accountancy include a four-year undergraduate Bachelor's of Arts degree (BBA), the Master's of Professional Accountancy degree (MPA), Master of Science Information Systems Audit and Control (MISAC), Master of Taxation degree (MTAX) and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Accounting (Ph.D.).

The teaching mission of the Department of Accounting is to produce outstanding graduates by offering comprehensive, state-of-the-art bachelor's, master's, doctoral and continuing professional education programs. The School seeks to provide its students with unique opportunities for personal and professional growth based on increasing their knowledge and understanding of the world around them and by improving their skills for learning, analyzing, and critical thinking.

According to the most recent CPA Personnel Report, the graduate accounting program is ranked 15th in the nation.
