Welcome from the Dean

Welcome to Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business website and to a world of information that can be your key to future business success.

Our college is more than 90 years old, but in addition to its rich history and tradition is a very contemporary curriculum that is in keeping with the needs of today's highly competitive global business environment.

We are proud that our premier programs—the Flex MBA, Executive MBA, Executive Doctorate and undergraduate program—all are ranked among the best in the nation. Our part-time MBA is ranked among the best by BusinessWeek and U.S. News & World Report and our Executive MBA is on the Financial Times list of the world's best EMBA programs.

The success of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business has been the result of several unique factors:

  • Our faculty members are among the best in world. They are experts in their respective fields, consult with businesses worldwide and often are quoted in the media.
  • As the sixth-largest business school in the United States, with approximately 200 full-time faculty, we are able to offer a wide variety of course offerings in both the graduate and undergraduate programs.
  • Our talented student body is one of the most diverse in the United States, hailing from more than 150 countries.
  • Our location in the heart of Atlanta's vibrant downtown business district is just minutes away from many of the nation's top companies, such as Coca-Cola, Turner Broadcasting, Georgia-Pacific, BellSouth, UPS and The Home Depot.
  • Our new MBA curriculum offers a non-traditional approach to global business education that captures the complexity and changing demands of business in the 21st century.
I hope you'll explore this website and learn more about how the J. Mack Robinson College of Business can put you on the path to success in business and life.

Sincerely,

H. Fenwick Huss
Dean
